whatever.... last weekend we have a crazy time in Milan with our Ouran Host club cosplay..
I was Kaoru Hitachiin while kitten_21 was my beloved twin Hikaru, moon_lolita was Tamaki, Dyda was Kyouya, Yoko was Haruhi, Ayumi was Honey, Goku-kakaroth was Mori and Dalila was Nekozawa
We finished the whole sewing job at a quarter to five in the morning, the day before the event, or better... Dyda and Lunae finished the sewing, while Kit and me were more of moral support, but in the end it has been really funny! Also at the feast itself rocked pretty much! We have planned to skip the cosplay contest (some problems with the skit ^^') and go otherwise around the place offering sweets and chocolate to the young ladies there =) I'd never expect to encounter such a success XD Playing the gigolo was deadly funny, and yes, now I have proofs that girls go all nuts as they saw fanservice for free.. I hear them squeek as I posed to drank from Hikaru's tin can XDDDDD
we had a great time!

well, because I realized commenting on Donella's journal that I've never explained this, so I decided to turn the comment into a post..
Ouran anime is enjoyable and very well done, and I love it, plain and simple...
Otherwise, Ouran manga can be fun at times but it's descending too much into the shoujo-clichè, and in a very pityfull way... oh, I don't wanna be spoilerish but it was the last thing that makes me yell:"oooh, C'MON!! THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE AT ALL!"
maybe fangirls are unable to look at thing objectively, maybe it's just me that is never rational enough to distinguish between what I LIKE and what I ACTUALLY SEE but, well, whatever, I'm quitting it..
five euros gained, no regrets.
I've always thought that shoujo manga are not worth reading, only makes you bad and pissed about anything...!
Romance is crap, and so distant from reality it results annoying...
that's why I'm gonna read and fandomize shounen, and shonen only, from this moment on.....

I ended it up this night and spoiled it because Hikaru turned out horribly, but I wanna end something, dammit!! (LuccaComics is killing the fanartist in me, among the other things… )
This came out of some late night ramblings, I was thinking about Mori and Haruhi and realize that they are quite similar, and that the major similarity is, to me, the way of love they have…
Both Mori and Haruhi are the parental type, they are very protective and quite cool, but loyal to death. Then, it follows that also Kaoru and Kyoya are quite similar, both lustfull observers, and that Tamaki and Honey are the sweet, romantic types… Hikaru stands alone as the only real hot-blooded host…
