the last post I left in my journal saturday turned out to be quite prophetic....
Forget my sleepy, awkward english, but I want all my f-list to know the epicity of the last weekend....! XD
First of all, you should know that a while ago Kit and me heard that Sting and the Police were to play at the Heinekenn Jammin' festival in Mestre last Sunday, and we were crying our eyes out because she was supposed to be in Forlì at 4Cosplay and I was busy with the Contrada feast in Siena untill the day before. So we resigned ourselves to not to go, also because the ticket was quite expensive. Well, Saturday night the Dj playing at our party makes a sort of lottery with tickets for the concert, and I won one of that!(and another boy that wasn't interested in it gave me the second) XD
I phoned Kitty past midnight, telling her we were going, we met in Bologna at midday of Sunday with two hour of sleep each, and we took the train for Venice, were I've found an affordable room in the city centre nearly by chance... O O
It was all in a rush, but it was great, we can't believe it all happened for real XD
The atmosphere of the festival was very relaxed and enjoyable, we were late for the Counting Crows( -.-.. but with the check in and such, we couldn't arrive earlier than 5 pm ) but we enjoyed the exibition of Alanis Morisette and some guys from the music accademy that were rocking pretty much hard =3
The Police's concert was posticipated because of the football match ("c'è anche il momento nazional-popolare.. c'è tutto!" Mu dixit - that unluckily ended with penalties.. and we lost ^^; ) and so we were a bit tired when it started, but it was a great show, and awesome music. We were almost dead by the time we reach our hotel, but it was worthy. And Venice is always a joy to meet again.
Strangely, this hyper weekend give me new energies to start to work again. I've been kind of moody and apathetic for the majority of time in the last couple of months, but now I feel like I'm back to the usual cheerfull self, and this really sounds good! =)
